Timing
Complete-rug timing depends on material and final dimensions. The binding work normally takes one day after the material, dimensions, finish, and handoff arrangements are confirmed; pickup and delivery dates are separate.
DMV Stair Runners cuts selected or customer-supplied carpet to the finished dimensions confirmed for your room, then binds the exposed perimeter.
02Can a carpet remnant become an area rug?+
Yes, when its condition suits the project and there is enough usable material. We compare the remnant's width and length in feet with the dimensions of the rug you want.
03Do custom area rugs get attached to the floor?+
Usually no, because the finished rug stays movable. At the home appointment, we look at the floor, rug size, and how you will use it to decide whether a pad belongs underneath.
