The full process

See it. Measure it. Make it fit.

A complete custom project joins decisions that broad flooring stores often separate: samples, real dimensions, material, fabrication, edge finishing, and installation.

At a glance

Four connected decisions

The project moves from the space, to the material, to the finished dimensions, to the final installation or handoff.

  1. 01

    See it at home

Compare physical samples beside the floors, walls, light, furniture, and traffic that will surround the finished piece.

  2. 02

    Measure the real space

Record the staircase, landing, hallway, or room dimensions before material is cut.

  3. 03

    Make and bind it

Confirm the material, finished dimensions, and exposed edge treatment, then fabricate the runner or rug.

  4. 04

    Finish the project

Install complete runner projects or arrange the finished rug or binding handoff.

  1. 01

    Share the project

Start with stairs, a hallway, an area rug, or binding. Add the property type, location, material status, and any useful photos or dimensions.

  2. 02

    Measure and compare samples

For complete projects, the business visits the home with physical samples and records the real dimensions, geometry, light, traffic, and placement.

  3. 03

    Confirm material and scope

Choose supplied material or review carpet you already have. Confirm the final size, edge treatment, installation, and job-specific quote before cutting.

  4. 04

    Fabricate and bind

Cut the carpet for the agreed runner or rug, then finish the exposed edge. Binding-only work normally takes one day after the job is confirmed.

  5. 05

    Install or hand off

Complete stair-runner projects move into installation. Custom rugs and binding work are handed off according to the agreed project or drop-off plan.

If you already have material

Start with the carpet, dimensions, and finished use.

Customer-supplied carpet can be reviewed for a rug, hallway runner, stair-runner project, or binding. A Temple Hills drop-off may be arranged after the scope is confirmed.
